Historic Palazzo Location
Fuordarno Bed & Breakfast is housed in a historic palazzo overlooking the Arno River, near Ponte Vecchio, the Uffizi Gallery, and Santa Croce. The top-floor rooms require climbing stairs, as there is no elevator.
Themed Rooms with Views
Each of the five rooms has a distinct style: Bali (oriental with a canopy bed), Copenhagen (Nordic with gray tones), Firenze (Florentine with antique red walls), Havana (colonial with tropical motifs), and New York (suite with city views). Rooms feature parquet floors, private bathrooms (some external), and views of Florence's monuments or the inner courtyard.
Breakfast & Shared Spaces
Breakfast includes tea, coffee, cappuccino, orange juice, bread, butter, jam, yogurt, cereals, ham, cheese, boiled eggs, and fresh fruit. Served daily from 8:30 AM to 10:30 AM in the kitchen, terrace, or room. Guests can use the shared kitchen, fridge, and lounge with TV, books, and games.
Walkable Florence Landmarks
The B&B is 500 meters from Piazza del Duomo and Palazzo Vecchio, 1 km from Ponte Vecchio, and 2 km from Galleria dell'Accademia. Bus 23A/B and C4H stop nearby. Florence Santa Maria Novella Station is 2 km away; Peretola Airport is 15 km away.
Sisters' Personalized Service
Owners Carolina and Giulia provide city maps, restaurant tips, and luggage storage. Rooms include free Wi-Fi, air conditioning, and hairdryers. Cribs are available for children under two; no extra beds are provided.
“Fuordarno Bed & Breakfast stands out for its intimate scale, with just five uniquely styled rooms inside a historical palazzo overlooking the Arno; the personalized service from owners Carolina and Giulia elevates a stay here. Certain rooms have direct views of Florence's main monuments, and breakfast on the terrace is a lovely touch. For travelers who appreciate attention to detail and a quiet, central location, this is a very fine choice.”
